Meeting Minutes

Call to order at 1:00pm on June 13, 2016.
A meeting of the Grand Haven Croquet Board of Directors was held at Creekside on June 13, 2016. Attendees included Rich Burns, Tom Shelko, Naomi Mass, John Fitterman, Pat Kaufman.           Member not in attendance was Bill Todd.  Bob Crouch did not attend due to his resignation as Tournament Director.

Treasurer – Bill Todd via written report

• Opening Balance was $ 13,803.64 & Closing Balance is $ 12,843.64.

 
President – Rich Burns

• Tournament Director position is open due to the resignation of Bob Crouch.
• Creekside mowing schedule will have to be revised due to conflict with playing times.
• Handicap Committee has been revised as follows: Bill Todd (chair), John Fitterman & Rich Burns.

Committees have been set up as follows:

• Grounds & Equipment – Greg Brown
• Logo Wear – Gail Barlow
• Nominations – Wes Rice, Naomi Mass, Nobi Koop
• ByLaws – Frank Benham
• Sunshine – Janet Carlson – sent cards to Marie Gaeta & Cassandra Gaisor.
• Web Master – Jenny Scott
• Instruction & Education Instructors – Rich Burns, Carol Burns, Cassandra Gaisor, Bill Todd, John Fitterman.

• Director's Reports
• Membership – John Fitterman - new members class will be scheduled in the fall.
• Social –Pat Kaufman - 7/2/16 event has been planned – it will be a "themed" play day to be followed by a BBQ catered by Captain's BBQ and the cost will be $12.00 per person. Indications are about 25 people, but a formal e-blast will be going out shortly to get an exact count.
