The 20th Annual Mountain Laurel Invitational Tournament was held June 6 - June 10, 2012 at the picturesque setting in the mountains of North Carolina.

The Grand Haven Croquet Club was represented by Antonia & Vincent Marmo at this USCA sanctioned event. Play was limited to 36 players that included three flights of singles and two flights of doubles. Prizes were awarded to the Champion and runner-up in each flight.

Based on actual competition, the Tournament Director, Fred Jones divided the participants into two flights:
Championship Flight - nine players (handicaps -1.5 to 5)
First Flight - eight players (handicaps 8 to 12)
Championship Flight - nine players (handicaps -1.5 to 5)
First Flight - eight players (handicaps 8 to 12)

In addition to competitive croquet, social activities included cocktail parties, breakfasts, lunch, and a wonderful Sunday Brunch following the awards presentation. |
