Membership Information and Free Lessons
From its inception, the Grand Haven Croquet Club (GHCC) has grown from the original six members to over 100 members. We believe that one of the key reasons our Club has grown so quickly is the user-friendly system we have in place for beginners to learn the basics of the game.
Those interested in joining the Croquet Club are given the opportunity to take four free lessons, given by the Club's experienced, qualified instructors. Mallets are furnished for the initial lessons and upon completion of the lessons, the beginners are invited to join the Club and given information on how to purchase their own mallets. The GHCC is registered with the United States Croquet Association (USCA) whose organization promotes the sport of croquet throughout the United States. Once a GHCC member, there are opportunities for further instruction including classes, clinics, coached games and tournament play along with access to other croquet clubs associated with the USCA around the country.
The Grand Haven Croquet Club offers two different membership levels in the croquet club. Gold Membership will be both a member of the Grand Haven Croquet Club and the USCA. Silver Membership will be only a Grand Haven Croquet Club member. Annual membership costs are:
White clothing is required for Grand Haven Croquet Club Members, and sneakers or flat-soled shoes are also required to protect the greens while on the courts.

- SINGLE: $110 ($35 GHCC DUES + $75 USCA DUES).
- COUPLE: $205 ($70 GHCC DUES + $135 USCA DUES).
- SILVER MEMBERSHIP:
- SINGLE: $35 (GHCC DUES).
- COUPLE: $70 (GHCC DUES).
- Couples can select if one or both members are GOLD Members or Silver Members, or a combination of both.
